53 years ago, a small group of local, professional potters decided to form a co-op to provide a community in which to sharpen skills, share ideas and learn from each other.

Last year, The Potter’s Studio moved into its new 3,000 sq. ft. facility in Scarborough. Today, we are 70 members strong and growing. Led by a small volunteer board and supported by several active committees, we now offer a variety of adult pottery classes throughout the year, an online store showcasing our members’ works, opportunities to partner with local communities to deliver free workshops. By special request, we would be happy to create and facilitate customized workshops for corporations and private groups.
