Andrea Dutton has been working with clay since the late 1990s and still, after all these years, finds the time spent at The Potter’s Studio a very creative and reflective part of her life. She was influenced by the late Pauline Harman, Martha Mabee and time spent at OCA.
Most of her pieces are wheel thrown and are functional and toxic-glaze-free. Lately, she has been hand painting each piece and notices that sometimes the decoration reflects what is going on in the world or her personal life at that time. That she finds fascinating!
The following pieces are examples of Andrea’s work and are not for sale online.
